Helldivers 2, Mechanical Oppression update available

The integration of the Cyborg faction significantly alters the tactical balance of the conflict thanks to the introduction of specialized units with defined roles. Among the new threats stand out the Agitators, armored commanders capable of coordinating the maneuvers of the robotic teams, and the Radical Cyborgs, assault infantry enhanced by cybernetic implants designed for close combat. The most complex challenge, however, is represented by the Vox Engine, a massive war machine piloted by high-ranking officers that combines devastating firepower, based on lasers and rockets, with the spread of enemy propaganda on the battlefield.

To support the offensive in this hostile landscape, the Helldiver arsenal expands with the “Siege Vanguards” War Title, which introduces defense-oriented equipment such as the G/SH-39 throwable shield, while the “Warhorses” armor set makes its appearance in the Superstore. The most radical innovation, however, lies in the Galactic Reinforcement Counter, a system that limits the war effort on Cyberstan: each individual loss reduces the global life reserve of the community and the exhaustion of this counter would sanction the definitive failure of the campaign.
