Aircraft strikes confirmed. Salvini: "Anti-Italian unions"

The union acronyms confirm the air transport strikes announced for the February 16th and March 7th despite the Guarantee Commission on the strikes has reported to the MIT the possible critical issues in transport given the overlap of the two dates with the Games Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milan-Cortina 2026.

Letter to the Guarantor

“The unions that ignore the Guarantor’s requests and the Ministry’s mediation proposals are proving irresponsible and anti-Italian. While the world looks at Milan Cortina 2026 with interest and admiration, thinking of blocking air traffic is absurd. It is an affront not only to citizens but also to Olympic and Paralympic athletes. We will be able to respond forcefully, demanding respect for the law and for Italy”, states the deputy prime minister and minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini.
