Israeli Army asks Iranians to contact Mossad for “any cooperation”

The Israeli Army on Thursday called on the population of Iran to consider the option of contacting the Mossad for “any cooperation”, in a new call to the Iranians to obtain information, amid tensions in the region after the Israeli offensive against the country in June 2025, to which the United States joined.

“We ask the patriotic Iranian people to please only follow our official contact methods and contact us for any cooperation,” the Israeli Army said in a message published on its social networks in Farsi, where it provides several links for those interested in this collaboration with Israel.

The call comes after the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, traveled to the United States to meet with the tenant of the White House, Donald Trump, to address the content of the indirect talks between Washington and Tehran, resumed last week in Oman after being suspended as a result of the aforementioned military offensive, which left more than 1,100 dead in the Asian country.

Trump, who initially threatened military intervention over the repression of the latest protests in Iran, later shifted to framing his warnings with the Iranian nuclear program, which Tehran maintains is for peaceful purposes only and which suffered a severe blow from Israeli and US bombings.

The aforementioned protests, unleashed by the economic crisis and the worsening standard of living, led to a wave of repression by the security forces and resulted in more than 3,100 deaths, although the non-governmental organization Human Rights Activists, based in the United States, has put the death toll at more than 7,000.

The NGO has stated that to date it has documented 7,002 deaths, including 216 children, as well as 52,941 detainees and 25,022 injuries. In addition, he highlighted that among the dead were 6,506 protesters and 214 members of the security forces.

Iranian authorities have denounced the presence of “terrorists” backed by the United States and Israel in the protests with the aim of carrying out attacks and increasing the number of victims so that the American president could carry out his threat to launch a military attack against the country.
