Year’s euribor on the rise

The twelve-month euribor, commonly used as a reference interest rate for Finnish mortgages, rose to 2.246% on Thursday from 2.231% on Wednesday.

The six-month euribor rose to 2.131% from 2.108% and the three-month euribor fell to 1.984% from 1.994%.

Euribors began to decline in the fall of 2023, when investors began to price in the reduction of policy interest rate hikes. Last year, the rate of decline leveled off, and towards the end of the year interest rates even saw a nice rise.
