Jeffrey Epstein: They secretly altered papers that identified former Prince Andrew in files of the sexual depravity, according to The Sun

Dozens of documents that identified Andrés Mountbatten-Windsorbrother of the British king Carlos IIIin the pedophile files Jeffrey Epstein have been secretly altered so as not to mention the former prince, the British tabloid ‘The Sun’ reports this Monday.

The email exchanges between Andrés and Epstein, the tycoon who died in prison in August 2019, were altered in the last two weeks, after their official publication, the tabloid indicates.

Andrés, from whom the king has withdrawn all noble titles, continues to be at the center of the controversy in the United Kingdom for his past links with Epstein and after it was revealed that the former Duke of York provided the pedophile with sensitive government documents.

This is frustrating Justice. It is a cover-up of the crime. I wish I could tell you that all this is shocking, but to us it is not. In fact, it’s predictable.“, said Jess Michaelswho has been a victim of the Epstein network, adds the newspaper.

We continue to be manipulated. It is designed to protect those responsible and intimidate survivors from coming forward.”added Michaels.

Documents with details blacked out or redacted include an email between Epstein and a Russian woman named Irinawhich confirms an evening with Andrés in August 2010.

The message was among nearly 100 that the British newspaper says it discovered through a keyword search: “everybody”, the initials in English of his then title of Duke of York (‘The Duke Of York’).

This allowed the newspaper to filter the 3.5 million documents published by the Department of Justice from the US to find those in which Andrés was the sender or recipient.

The tabloid adds that, when it returned this Sunday to enter the keyword to search in the Epstein Archivesthe documents were not found and that he had to trace the emails from screenshots showing the dates.

Sky Robertsbrother of Virginia Giuffrewho accused Andrés of sexual abuse when he was a minor, declared: “Why are the names of the perpetrators redacted while those of the survivors remain intact?”.

The public still does not know the full truth about who facilitated Epstein’s abuse, who participated in his exploitation, and who has been protected for years”he added.

It is estimated that among the rich and powerful figures who remain anonymous are at least six men, one of whom holds a very senior position in a foreign government, says ‘The Sun’.

The American Democrat Jamie Raskinwho had access to examine the files without censorship, stated: “I saw the names of many people who were censored for mysterious, puzzling or inscrutable reasons”.

The Thames Valley Police, the force to which Windsor belongs – where Andrés lived until recently – is evaluating the information regarding the former prince’s contacts with Epstein and has to decide whether or not to initiate a criminal investigation.

Meanwhile, the king has limited himself to expressing his solidarity with Epstein’s victims and stating that he will support an eventual investigation by the police into Andrés.

However, experts warn that the monarch has not done enough to resolve this matter and many demand that he ask his brother to testify in the United States about his alleged participation in the magnate’s sexual exploitation network.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday asked Americans to turn the page on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, even as the newly released documents have sparked an investigation into a top British politician and calls for explanations about others named in the files. (AFP)
