Konami annuncia Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2

Konami has removed the last veil of uncertainty on the future of the saga created by Hideo Kojima, officially announcing Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. The most relevant aspect of the operation concerns the publication of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, a title that for almost two decades remained confined to the PlayStation 3 architecture and which is now preparing to debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC and on Nintendo platforms, including the new generation of Switch. The release date has been set for August 27, confirming the publisher’s desire to make the entire chronology of the series accessible on contemporary systems.

The gaming offer extends beyond the fourth numbered chapter, integrating the HD Collection version of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which will maintain online multiplayer features for up to six users. To complete the package, Metal Gear: Ghost Babel appears, the brand’s historic foray into the portable sector, together with a vast array of supplementary materials. These include digital volumes containing screenplays and technical insights, as well as the official soundtrack. The management of extra contents will take place via a dedicated internal menu, consolidating the anthological formula already proposed in the previous volume.
