Gisèle Pelicot’s memoirs, ‘A Hymn to Life’, arrive in Spanish bookstores this Tuesday

The memories of Gisele Pelicot victim of the rapes organized for a decade at her home by her ex-husband Dominique Pelicot, reach the Spanish bookstores published by Lumen.

In ‘A hymn to life’ Gisèle tells her entire story for the first time, reliving a “difficult” childhood, her first love, her career, motherhood, the intimacy of her marriage before and after the discovery and the “continuous desire to seek happiness.”

The book, which has been written with the journalist and novelist Judith Perrignon, will be narrated by actress Blanca Portillo in the audiobook in Spanish.

Although in Spanish it is the Lumen publishing label that is in charge of publishing these memoirs in Spain, Latin America and the United States in Spanish, in France it is Flammarion, Penguin Press in the United States and The Bodley Head in England, in addition to seventeen other publishers in other languages.
