EduBirdie surveyed over 2,000 people and found that 67% of Gen Z choose a good night’s sleep over fun in bed. However, the younger generation is not completely closed or conservative. Data show that 37% have experienced new sexual activities, 29% have had sex in public places and 23% admitted to exchanging sensitive messages during work hours.

According to culture and media analyst Julia Alexeenko from EduBirdie, before previous generations rush to make stereotypes about this somewhat closed young group, it is necessary to acknowledge the reality: Gen Z is a generation that is being influenced by a wave of conservative ideology after a period of strong liberation. Ms. Julia commented that milestones such as the birth of the birth control pill, the normalization of mild stimulants or the “summer of love” are essentially too far away from the daily lives of young people today.

Technology is “keeping” young people in the virtual world, causing them to spend most of their time on applications instead of going out to meet in person.
