Workers discovered the technical glitch late Saturday night US East Coast time, when the rocket’s helium flow was interrupted during a pressurization check. Power must be present before Artemis II can be launched.

A similar problem was detected in 2022 in the Artemis I rocket.

Artemis II’s next possible launch attempt is in April. The lunar rocket is to take four astronauts into orbit around the Moon. Astronauts would be the first humans near the Moon in over 53 years.
