Journalist and writer Gregorio Morán, biographer of Adolfo Suárez, dies

The Asturian journalist and writer Gregorio Moran journalist and author of a biography of the former President of the Government Adolfo Suárez and books on the Transition, has died at the age of 78, as published by ‘La Vanguardia’ and ‘The Objective’ and confirmed by Europa Press.

The wake for Morán (Oviedo 1947), who collaborated with media such as ‘Opinión’, ‘Arreu’, ‘Diario 16’ and ‘La Gaceta del Norte’, ‘Crónica Global’ and ‘The Objective’ and published his ‘Sabatinas Intempestivas’ in ‘La Vanguardia’ for three decades, will open this Wednesday at the Sancho de Ávila Mortuary in Barcelona.

He was the author of books such as ‘Adolfo Suárez: history of an ambition’, ‘The price of the Transition’, ‘Miseria, grandeur and agony of the Spanish Communist Party’, ‘The decadence of Catalonia’ and ‘Felipe González. The billiard player’, among others.
