“E&D” and “Du” pay 9.38 billion for the “franchise right”

Dubai: Al-Khaleej: E&Emirates and Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (Du) paid an amount of 9,380,418 billion dirhams for the federal concession for the year 2025, compared to 6,854,146 billion dirhams that the two companies paid for the year 2024, recording an annual growth of 36.9%, in a clear indication of the acceleration of the telecommunications sector’s contribution to federal revenues, during The year 2025. The financial statements of the two companies showed that E&Emirates paid 7,423,816 billion dirhams in federal franchise fees for the year 2025, compared to 5,282,497 billion dirhams in 2024, an increase of 2,141,319 billion dirhams, a growth of 40.5%, which reflects a noticeable improvement in the company’s financial and operational performance, in addition to its expansion in services.
