Pelephone cuts 10% of staff

The board of directors of Pelefon approved an agreement to dismiss 10% of the company’s staff with payment of appropriate compensation and a new collective agreement for a period of three years, starting in January 2026.

The detailed agreement will be signed after its formulation is finalized based on the approved agreements.

According to the workers’ committee, about 50 workers will take early retirement with payments of about NIS 1 million per person, and another 100 will receive increased compensation for dismissal.
