“This is a really good result for the employees – and it is a result that they fought for themselves,” said Verdi deputy chairwoman Christine Behle. Autobahn GmbH is facing billions in investments and is also suffering from a lack of staff. This makes such a qualification all the more important because it can retain skilled workers and attract new ones.
