Dramatic documentation: destruction in the heart of Khamenei’s residence

Dramatic satellite photographs published this morning (Saturday) in the “New York Times” reveal the heavy damage caused to Ali Khamenei’s official residence in Tehran. The photos show extensive destruction and plumes of black smoke rising from the most secure complex in Iran, which serves as the main residence and hospitality center where the Supreme Leader hosts the regime’s top officials.

According to the documentation from the satellite, at least several buildings inside the compound collapsed completely as a result of precise hits. Israeli officials emphasized this morning that the current operation was not only aimed at damaging military infrastructure, but was explicitly and precisely aimed at the most senior political leadership – headed by Khamenei and President Massoud Pazkhian.

Simultaneously with the documents of the structural destruction, the “Reuters” news agency reports that following the direct hit to the heart of the compound, Khamenei was taken out of Tehran under heavy security and transferred to a secure and secret compound outside the city. His exact condition and whereabouts remain at this stage under a heavy fog, but the destruction demonstrated in the palace sends a clear message about the collapse of the air defense over the most sensitive center in the country.
