Red Crescent confirms more than 200 dead and almost 750 injured in the US and Israeli attacks against Iran

The Iranian Red Crescent has confirmed that the wave of combined attacks launched early this morning by the United States and Israel have left more than 200 dead and almost 750 injured in 24 provinces of Iran.

As reported by a spokesperson to Iranian state radio and television IRIB, the attacks have specifically left 201 dead and 747 injured.

The Iranian authorities have reported that more than a hundred of these deaths are civilians and have been identified in two attacks: the first against a nursery school in Hormozgan, which has left 85 schoolchildren dead so far, and the second against a gymnasium in the province of Fars, which has killed 15 people.

Red Crescent has estimated that more than 220 of its teams are present at the sites of the attacks “and relief operations continue.”

On Israel’s part, the Emergency Service confirms so far 89 minor injuries due to Iranian counterattacks against Israeli soil and US military positions in the region, which have caused one death in the United Arab Emirates and 12 injured in Kuwait.

Iran claims that more than 200 US soldiers have been killed or injured in these attacks but Washington has not yet commented on the matter.
