TCL will incorporate AMOLED technology in the next NXTPAPER screens and presents its Note A1 NXTPAPER tablet

TCL has announced the integration of screen technology AMOLED in its next generation of smartphone devices with NXTPAPER screenin addition to presenting its new generation of tablets, headed by the new TCL Note A1 NXTPAPERwhich is based on the brand’s first e-note with NXTPAPER Pure display technology with 3A Crystal Shield Glass, and launch its flagship ‘smartphone’ NXTPAPER 70 Pro.

Under the commitment ‘Make Technology More Human’, the technology company has brought its latest technological innovations to the technology fair Mobile World Congress 2026where he has shared his intention to expand innovation in NXTPAPER screens.

Precisely that is the central axis of its latest screen technology NXTPAPER 4.0which has a hardware and software focused approach to replicate the natural light experience, all backed by certifications such as SGS and TÜV. It achieves this, because it is a solution that integrates up to seven key eye protection technologies.

Specifically, it includes natural light display technology, flicker-free, blue light filtering, reflection-free and anti-glare viewing, protection in low light conditions, circadian comfort and TruePaper Restoration.

However, now TCL has announced a new advancement in its roadmap for display technology, introducing the evolution of NXTPAPERwhich will integrate for the first time technology AMOLED screens for your next generation of smartphone devices.

This new stage is still in development, but the company assures that it will mark “a qualitative leap” in the visual experience of these devices, by combining chromatic vividness, high contrast and energy efficiency of AMOLED panels with the visual comfort capabilities that characterize NXTPAPER screens.

“By integrating NXTPAPER with AMOLED we respond to the market demand for screens that do not force you to choose between vibrant images and eye comfort,” underlined the general director of TCL Mobile Phone, Jefferson Li.

Following this line, the company has clarified that this new generation of NXTPAPER will also improve eye protection thanks to the evolution of technology. Circular Polarized Light (CPL), given that the polarization rate will go from 57 to 90 percent compared to the previous generation. This translates into a light emission that is closer to the behavior of natural light. Likewise, the Reduction of harmful blue light will be increased to an additional 15 percent.

Continuing with the developments in this screen technology, TCL will introduce, for the first time, anti-reflective technology on an AMOLED panel in the smartphone sector, reducing external glare without sacrificing sharpness. This will be possible with the introduction of nano-matrix lithographywhich achieves a display reminiscent of real paper.

As the company has explained, this integration will allow reaching “a new level of visual fidelity” by combining eye safety and “premium image quality”, with professional color accuracy, 100 percent coverage of the P3 spectrummaximum brightness 3,200 nits and 120 Hz refresh rate.

It should be noted that this system is supported by TCL’s vertically integrated display ecosystem and its global experience through TCL SOT, which leads in technology. Mini LED, Micro LED, OLED e Inkjet Printing OLED.
