The post on Instagram, accompanied by a promotional poster and the message “What goes up must come down”, clearly announces an uncompromising clash. It is a fight in the middleweight category between the seventh challenger, Vrtači, and the ninth-ranked Pole, Odzimkowski.

Gardenčić became a star in Poland thanks to a very attractive fighting style that earned him the nickname “Highlight Machine”. So far, he has done four fights in KSW and is performing extremely successfully in the Polish organization. He had three victories, all by knockout, while he suffered one defeat last year by unanimous decision of the judges. The last time he fought in Poland was in January, when he was knocked out with a brutal high kick Mateuša Naked.

His opponent, whom he will face in April, is still significantly more experienced and is one of the veterans of the organization. In it, he fought eight fights and has three wins and four losses with one NC (no contest). The duo was supposed to fight last summer, but that fight was canceled due to the Pole’s injury, which caused him to withdraw.
