iPhone 17e doubles the memory of the economic line

One of the most significant structural innovations concerns the integration of the C1X modem, designed entirely in Cupertino. This component allows you to reach cellular connection speeds up to twice as fast as in the past, while reducing energy consumption by 30%. The greater efficiency of the modem, combined with the optimized management of iOS 26, translates into autonomy declared for the whole day, despite the increase in computing power. The satellite safety functions remain central, allowing you to send emergency messages and request roadside assistance even in the total absence of a signal.

The design retains the 6.1-inch diagonal with Super Retina XDR technology, but introduces Ceramic Shield 2. This new front coating offers three times greater scratch resistance and an improved anti-reflective treatment for easier viewing in direct sunlight. The aerospace aluminum body, available in black, white and a new pale pink, maintains IP68 certification for protection from water and dust. On the side barrel there is also space for the Action button, which allows you to quickly recall customized functions such as the flashlight or visual assistance tools.

On the photographic front, the iPhone 17e adopts a 48 Megapixel Fusion system which simulates the presence of a 2x optical quality telephoto lens, allowing you to obtain close-up shots without loss of detail. Image management is entrusted to an advanced pipeline that automatically recognizes human subjects and pets, capturing depth data to allow blur adjustment even after shooting. The video sector supports 4K Dolby Vision recording up to 60 fps and Spatial Audio acquisition, making the contents compatible with immersive reality viewers. The new iPhone 17e will be available for pre-order from March 4th, with actual availability starting from March 11th.
