Azerbaijan suspended the movement of trucks across the border with Iran

After the attack by Iranian UAVs, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan decided to completely stop the movement of trucks through all border points on the border with Iran. This decision also applies to transit freight transport.

On March 5, attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles were carried out on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from Iran. One of the drones hit the terminal building of Nakhichevan International Airport, the second exploded near a school in the village of Shakarabad. Two people were injured and property damage was caused.
