Telemachu recognized by Oookla for the fastest and best network: ‘Our users recognized the investments’

Telemacha Ookla conducted the analysis of the mobile network during the last six months of 2025. The title of best mobile network is awarded based on performance measurements such as speed, latency, web browsing and video streaming, while the award for fastest mobile network measures network bandwidth and responsiveness. The overall speed performance score combines download and upload speed measurements with latency metrics.

The continuity of various international awards is a clear proof of how advanced and reliable Telemach’s mobile network is and that we consistently meet the expectations of our users. From Telemach, they point out that since arriving on the Croatian market, they have continuously improved the quality of their services. The capacity of the mobile network increased by more than six times, while the traffic in the network grew by almost three and a half times. Today, all mobile technologies, including 5G, cover more than 99 percent of the Croatian population.

Along with increasing the speed and capacity of the network, the company is investing in the sustainability of the business. It procures its entire electrical energy from renewable sources, which further reduces its carbon footprint, they state, and add that at the same time, by applying the latest functionalities in the radio network, overall energy efficiency is improved and the consumption of electrical energy is reduced.

Ookla’s recognition further strengthens Telemach’s position as one of the key drivers of digital infrastructure development in Croatia. Investments in advanced mobile technologies, the company says, bring faster and more stable connectivity to users and create prerequisites for accelerated digitization, strengthening the competitiveness of the economy and the even development of all regions.
