What Potsdam’s Film Museum, Lindenstrasse Memorial and Film University are planning

The week is coordinated by the Foundation Against Racism. In Potsdam, the Babelsberg Film University, the Potsdam Film Museum and the Lindenstrasse Memorial have announced numerous events. Together we want to “send a clear signal for diversity, solidarity, respect and democratic values,” said the film university. The latter will show short films by students from the years 1966 to 2025 in the Film Museum on March 17th and international short films on migration, identity and coexistence in diverse societies on March 26th.

The graphic novel “Unforgotten: Stories of National Socialist Persecution from Potsdam” will be presented at the Lindenstrasse Memorial on March 17th. On March 24th, filmmaker Angelika Nguyen will be there with her documentary “Brotherland has burned down” (1991) as a guest. The film shows the realities of life for Vietnamese contract workers in East Berlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
