The Iranian hacker group “Khandala” broke into the website of the Hebrew Language Academy

In response to the hack, the Hebrew Language Academy announced that the incident is being handled and that efforts are being made to restore the site to activity as soon as possible. The message reads: “This morning the website of the Hebrew Language Academy was hacked, and an announcement was made that soon it will no longer be necessary to learn Hebrew.”

The academy added: “Even the hackers who broke into the website understand that the Hebrew language is an integral part of the Zionist movement, and is an important pillar of Israeli culture, existence and identity.” It was also noted: “The incident is being handled in cooperation with the national cyber system, and we are working to restore the site to normal operation as soon as possible.”
