Beyond the personal defense of Levin, Trump used the platform to sharpen his political message focusing on the Iranian threat. “The MAGA movement includes not allowing Iran, a sick, insane and violent terrorist regime, to obtain a nuclear weapon that will blow up the United States of America, the Middle East and ultimately the rest of the world,” the president stated. He concluded his remarks by promising to achieve “eternal peace through strength” and thanked the American military.

Levine was quick to reply to the president on his X account, where he posted an emotional message of thanks. “Mr. President: I am beyond humbled to read your words and your kindness in writing such a beautiful note and sharing it,” Levin wrote. He praised Trump’s leadership, noting that “your courage, strength and moral clarity are truly unprecedented. Your leadership has made our country and the world much safer.”

Levin, who is known as an ardent supporter of Israel and has a distinctly hawkish line on foreign affairs, made it clear in his response that he does not intend to back down from his positions. “I will not give in to threats and I will not let them scare me,” he stressed.
