Citizens’ wishes are now being realized in the traffic-calmed zone

Paulsenstrasse, which lies between Grunewaldstrasse and Schildhornstrasse, is already a traffic-calmed zone, However, people drive too fast there: The street is a popular secret route between Steglitz Town Hall and Breitenbachplatz. With elevations on the street, so-called Berlin cushions, and extensions to the sidewalk, traffic is intended to be slowed down and made clearer on the other. At the same time, the parking spaces will be newly marked and signposted. The civil engineering department is also using the work to repair the asphalt surface in the intersection of Paulsenstrasse and Forststrasse.

Paulsenstrasse is now between Grunewaldstrasse and Rückertstrasse completely blocked.
