Samsung stops selling Galaxy Z TriFold three months after its presentation

Samsung has stopped sales of its foldable device Galaxy Z TriFoldwhich has three screens and two hinges that make it reach a size of 10 inches, three months after it began to be marketed in South Korea.

Samsung’s website shows in those countries where the Galaxy Z TriFold has gone on sale that the device is out of stock, with no notifications about its possible replacement.

The reason lies in the company’s decision. remove the device from the market, starting with South Korea, the first country where it began to be marketed after its presentation in December of last year, as reported in Bloomberg.

The US market will follow soon. once stock endsas indicated by a spokesperson to the aforementioned media.

Galaxy Z TriFold was presented in December with a different proposal in the world of folding devices: three screens and two hingeswhich offers a 10-inch screen when fully deployed.

With this device, Samsung sought to take the performance and premium experience of Ultra phones “to a new level”, with a large immersive screen which provides “maximum productivity” for work and “cinematic viewing.”

The premium category was also present in the price. In Korea it was put on sale for 3,594,000 won and in the United States for $2,899 (about 2,500 euros at the current exchange rate).
