Tragedia in Swiss. It caused a killed when a cable car cabin fell occurred this morning in Engelberg ski area. The cantonal police announced this at a press conference, according to reports in the Swiss press. The accident occurred just before 11am on the route Trubsee-Stand.
The cabin broke away and overturned several times down the snowy slope. Inside there was only the person who died, whose identity no details are currently being provided. The evacuation of people present in the other cabins is still underway. The authorities are investigating, also to understand why the plants were operating despite the strong wind.
