Iran carries out large-scale attacks on the oil and gas infrastructure of Arab countries

The ayatollahs’ regime did not limit itself to declarations. In recent hours, Iran has been striking the oil and gas industries of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. This led to a new jump in energy prices.

Iran launched several strikes on the Ras Lafan industrial complex, where key Qatari gas infrastructure is located. They suffered significant damage. Ballistic missiles were used. Qatar’s Interior Ministry said the massive fires had been brought under control.

Shell said the shelling damaged its Pearl GTL liquefied natural gas plant. It is capable of producing 140,000 barrels of liquefied gas per day. Qatar decided to expel the military and police attaché.

Kuwait Oil Corporation reported that on the morning of March 19, Iran used a UAV to strike the Mina al-Ahmadi oil refinery. According to the report, there were no injuries; a fire broke out at the scene and was brought under control.

The Mina al-Ahmadi refinery, located on the shores of the Persian Gulf 40 kilometers from the capital, is the oldest and largest in Kuwait. Its capacity is 730,000 barrels per day. Its terminal is a key oil export infrastructure.

As a result of an Iranian UAV strike, a fire also broke out at an oil refinery in the Kuwaiti port of Abdullah.

Saudi Arabia says a drone struck the SANREF oil refinery located in Yanbu, on the Red Sea coast. Previously, oil refineries located in the Riyadh area were attacked.
