The Iranian Red Crescent denounces damage to more than 70,000 civil infrastructures due to attacks by Israel and the US

The Iranian Red Crescent Society reported this Thursday that more than 70,000 civil infrastructures, including homes and schools, have been damaged due to attacks by the United States and Israel in 20 days since they launched their surprise offensive against the Asian country.

The president of the organization, Pirhossen Kolivand, has reported this figure on social networks, where he has also denounced that 251 medical centers, 498 schools and 17 Red Crescent centers have also suffered damage since last February 28, when Washington and Tel Aviv attacked Tehran, killing the then supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, and other senior officials.

In their latest report, the Iranian authorities have confirmed more than 1,200 deaths due to the offensive by Israel and the United States, although the non-governmental organization Human Rights Activists in Iran, based in the United States, raised the death toll on Sunday to more than 3,000, mostly civilians.
