Audrey Fleurot in “The Countess of Monte Cristo”: the secrets of the birth of a blockbuster

“But it’s slush!” » Royal blue velvet dress and heeled boots, Audrey Fleurot leaves her white tent to join the film set of “The Countess of Monte Cristo”, in the middle of the snowy fields of Tocnik, a small village in the Czech Republic, located 50 kilometers southwest of Prague. Actor Éric Elmosnino is waiting for him. It’s 4 p.m. on this gray afternoon in January 2026. The mud sticks to the actors’ shoes, the drizzle lashing their faces and, in two hours, it will be dark. The hundred people, the six semi-trailers and the Algeco (modular constructions) hosting the team and the equipment of this blockbuster invest these places for three days, in order to shoot a key scene of the sixth episode of the eight that will make up the series.
