UAE intercepts four missiles and 26 drones of Iranian origin

The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced this Friday the interception of four ballistic missiles and 26 drones of Iranian origin, and has raised the attacks launched by the Islamic Republic to almost 2,100 since the start of the war.

“Since the start of the blatant Iranian aggression, the United Arab Emirates’ air defenses have intercepted 338 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,740 unmanned aerial vehicles,” confirmed the Emirati Ministry of Defense.

The UAE has become the main target of Iran’s regional retaliation after the attack launched by the United States and Israel on February 28.

In this sense, the death toll from the attacks includes two soldiers from the Emirati Armed Forces, as well as six civilians, of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi and Palestinian nationalities. In addition, the Iranian attacks have left a total of 158 people injured of various degrees.

The Emirates “remains fully prepared and ready to confront any threat,” indicated the Ministry of Defense, which stated that it “will respond firmly to any attempt to undermine State security.”
