The US is tightening the rope: new sanctions against Hezbollah’s financing network

The American government emphasizes that this is a move designed to cut off the organization’s main funding channels, reduce its ability to generate revenue for terrorist activities, and prevent it from circumventing existing sanctions. “By damaging the financial infrastructure, we are taking concrete steps to limit terrorist activity,” the official statement said.
