“Our model is a virtuous circle, not a cost center”, these entrepreneurs are revolutionizing the solidarity economy

Every year since 2007, the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) firm has rewarded an entrepreneur whose company belongs to the social and solidarity economy (ESS). This award means that it pursues “a significant social and/or environmental impact, particularly in the French context, while offering innovative and economically viable solutions”. These companies are also determined “by the costs they enable society to avoid; for example in terms of social spending, health or the environment. So that the impact of these companies is not limited to their direct activity but also in the collective economies that they generate.
