The funeral of actress Isabelle Mergault will take place on Monday March 30 in Paris

The funeral of director Isabelle Mergault will take place on Monday March 30 during a secular ceremony under the dome of the Parisian Père-Lachaise cemetery, her agent Patrick Goavec announced to AFP on Monday.

After a moment of contemplation and homage which will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Père-Lachaise, to which the public is invited, the actress will then rest at the Montmartre cemetery, in the north of Paris.

A figure in cinema and television with an unmistakable voice, Isabelle Mergault died Friday at the age of 67 from cancer.

Recognizable by the hair on her tongue, she notably directed the feature film “Je vous très beau” with Michel Blanc, winner of the César for best first film in 2007, and was one of the members of the show “Les Grosses Têtes” on RTL.

RTL radio, Laurent Ruquier and the “Family of Grosses Têtes”, of which she was a member for many years, will pay tribute to her on Monday from 3:30 p.m.
