Upgrading DAE’s rating to “A-” with a stable outlook

KBRA raised the credit rating of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise from “BBB+” to “A-” while adjusting the outlook to stable, in a move that reflects a noticeable improvement in the company’s performance and position in the global aircraft leasing market. This upgrade was driven by several key factors, most notably the continued expansion of the company’s business and increase in its market share, in addition to the improved diversity of the fleet and customers, as well as a clear vision regarding future growth, especially after its announcement in February 2026 of plans to acquire Macquayar, a deal expected to be completed during the second half of the year. According to the evaluation, the combined entity will include a fleet of up to 1,029 aircraft.
