“Abu Dhabi Registration” investigates the rise in prices to protect the markets

The Abu Dhabi Registration Authority (ADRA), the arm of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi to develop and regulate the business sector in the emirate, revealed that it has begun investigating reports related to unjustified price increases, or failure to provide the necessary stock, by some economic establishments, during the past few days. It works to review these reports and verify the extent of compliance with the legislation regulating this matter, stressing that if any violations are proven, they will be referred to the competent judicial authorities, in accordance with the applicable laws and procedures. Emphasizing its commitment to maintaining market stability, promoting fair trade practices, and protecting consumer rights.
