Donald Trump’s wife hosted a meeting with 45 other first ladies, including France’s Brigitte Macron, and representatives of 28 technology companies to present her ‘Fostering the Future Together’ initiative.

Melania Trump surprised by appearing at the event walking next to an American-made humanoid robot, nicknamed Figure 3, as a symbol of the future that technology can have in education.

Figure 3, the first humanoid officially presented at the White House, welcomed attendees with a few brief words in several languages ​​and then left the room.

In her keynote speech, Melania Trump stated that the next generation will be marked by the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning and by the emergence of humanoid homeschool educators, such as Figure 3.

“The future of AI is personified: it will be in human form. Very soon, artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that will provide utility,” he said.

The Slovenian former model chaired a round table together with first ladies and representatives of France, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Panama, Sierra Leone, Malawi and Kosovo.

When speaking, Brigitte Macron praised the work of the American first lady during Trump’s first term against cyberbullying of minors and defended restricting children and adolescents’ access to screens and mobile phones.

The meeting at the White House was the second and last day of meetings in Washington between Melania Trump and the first ladies, after the one held on Tuesday at the State Department.

Among the guests were Sara Netanyahu, wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Olenna Zelenska, wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The first ladies of Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, among others, also participated.
