RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan expressed concern about the casualties recorded as a result of the escalation of the situation and developments in the Middle East.
In a conversation with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd Al-Rahman Al Thani, they emphasized the importance of regional stability and peace and Yerevan’s support for efforts in that direction.
Mirzoyan expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided to the RA citizens who remained in Qatar due to the cancellation of flights to the Middle East.
In response to US and Israeli attacks, Tehran targets Israel and Middle Eastern countries where US military bases are located, including Qatar.
Today, Mirzoyan also spoke with his Iranian colleague on the phone. They discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the possibilities of reaching a resolution of the situation.
