‘La cena’, ‘Los Domingos’ and ‘Flores para Antonio’, among those awarded the Alma Awards for screenwriters

‘La Cena’, ‘Los Domingos’, ‘Flores para Antonio’, ‘Poquita Fé’, ‘Anatomía de un Instante’, ‘Crims’ and ‘Sueños de Libertad’ have been awarded the IX Alma Awards of the Spanish Screenwriters Union.

The award for Best Comedy Feature Screenplay went to Yolanda García Serrano, Manuel Gómez Pereira and Joaquín Oriestrell for ‘The Dinner’and Best Screenplay for a Dramatic Feature Film in Alauda Ruiz de Azúa for ‘The Sundays’. The award for Best Documentary Feature Screenplay went to Isaki Lacuesta and Elena Molina for ‘Flowers for Antonio’; to the Comedy Series to Juan Maidiagán and Peón Montero for ‘Little faith‘.

The Dramatic Series Screenplay Award was awarded to Fran Araújo, Rafael Cobos and Alberto Rodríguez for ‘Anatomy of a moment’; and Marc Cases, Ignasi Gisbert, Martí Haro, Minaia Llorca, Nil Montilla, Javi Oms, Anna Punsí and Xènia Sanromà for ‘crimes’ have received Best Screenplay for a Documentary Series.

The Daily Series award has been awarded to Beatriz Duque, Verónica Viñé, Jordi Calafí, Eulàlia Carrillo, Mauricio Romero, Roberto Goñi, Alexis García Pérez de Medina, Bárbara Alpuente, Julia Altares, Luis Chover, Rocío Chozas, Mercedes Cruz, Guillermo Escobedo, Carlos Falces, Matías García, Ernesto Grimaldi, Beatriz González Cruz, Laura Molpeceres, Ana Muniz da Cunha, Federico Muñoz Alonso, Manel Nofuentes, Nacho Pérez de la Paz, Clara Pérez Escrivá, Susana Sánchez Carvajal, Laura Solana Erdozain and Almudena Vázquez for ‘Dreams of freedom’.

As for the Program Script award, it went to Diego Fabiano, Rubén Ajaú, Manuel Álvarez, Elena Beltrán, Danny Boy-Rivera, Miguel Campos, Yunez Chaib, Gómez, Aitor Ormaetxea and Emese Sobrino for ‘Figures and letters’ .

Carlos Molinero, president of ALMA, has presented the ALMA Honor Award to the script team of ‘Poland’the political satire program broadcast continuously on Televisió de Catalunya since 2006.
