Trump warns European countries that the US will not help them in their defense after their inaction in Hormuz

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has reiterated the accusation of European countries for their inaction in the crisis at the Hormuz Pass and lack of cooperation with the US Army in the war in Iran, warning that Washington will not help them in their defense, in comments that once again call into question the White House’s commitment to NATO.

In a message on social networks, the North American president points to the United Kingdom and other countries that “cannot get fuel for planes due to (the crisis) in the Strait of Hormuz,” which he recalls “refused to participate in the ‘decapitation’ of Iran.”

“I make a suggestion to you: first of all, buy from the United States, which we have plenty of; and secondly, gather the courage that you have lacked until now, go to the strait and simply take it,” he said about the changes in the world oil market.

In this sense, he has launched another threat to this group of countries, which on this occasion he does not clarify, although he has previously pointed out European and Asian nations, insisting that Washington will make them pay for their lack of involvement in the war.

“They will have to start learning to defend themselves; the United States will no longer be there to help them, just as you were not there for us,” said Trump, who emphasizes that Iran “has been decimated” after the offensive by the United States and Israel so “the difficult thing has already been done” and now these countries must go “for their own oil.”

In another message a few minutes later, Trump attacked the French Government for “not allowing planes bound for Israel, loaded with military material, to fly over its territory.”

“France has shown very little cooperation with respect to the ‘butcher of Iran’, who has been eliminated,” he lamented, referring to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, killed in the first bombings of the war launched on February 28, after which he warned that Washington “will remember him.”
