Osnabrück (A30): Truck crashes into the end of a traffic jam

Osnabrück – A truck driver overlooked the end of a traffic jam in the morning traffic jam – and crashed into a tractor-trailer without braking. The 34-year-old was trapped in his driver’s cab and suffered life-threatening injuries. The A30 was closed for hours.

The accident occurred in the morning between the Osnabrück-Sutthausen and Osnabrück-Hellern junctions in the direction of Rheine. Loud police A 41-year-old braked his tractor-trailer sharply because of a traffic jam. The following truck driver (34) noticed this too late.

Fire brigade frees trapped driver

The impact was so violent that the 34-year-old was trapped in the driver’s cab. The fire department had to free him with heavy equipment. Paramedics took him to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The police completely closed the route for around three hours for the rescue. Damage: around 100,000 euros.
