The Serbian athlete Ivana Vuleta won the gold medal in the long jump at the European Championships in Munich tonight. Vuleta won the second European outdoor gold with a jump of seven meters and six centimeters in the first series, equaling her best result this year.
The best Serbian athlete jumped 6.98 meters in the second series, she exceeded it in the next three, while she did not jump in the last series.
The second Serbian representative in this final, Milica Gardašević, took seventh place with a jump of 6.52 meters.
The silver medal was won by the current Olympic and world champion, German Malaika Mihambo, with a jump of 7.03 meters, while the bronze went to the British Jasmine Sawyers, who jumped 6.80 meters in the last series.
