Al Jazeera: F-15 navigator rescued in Iran

According to Al Jazeera, the second crew member was found after a “heavy firefight” and the evacuation phase is now underway.

Against this background, Al Jazeera reports that the Americans continue to launch strikes in the area where the operation is being carried out. Four more were reported killed in a morning strike on a target in Dehdesht.

Later, Al Jazeera, citing an official source, announced that the rescued American officer had been taken out of Iran.

Soon, US President Donald Trump confirmed reports of the rescue of the second pilot of the crew of a downed F-15 in Iran, publishing a corresponding post on the Truth Social social network.

CENTCOM has not yet commented on these messages.

The night before, Iranian opposition sources reported that the US Air Force attacked targets near Dehdasht, in the Kohgiluyeh region, in southwestern Iran. At the same time, it was stated that about 60 participants in the search for the American navigator who survived the fall of the downed F-15 aircraft were killed.

There is no official comment on this information. It is impossible to check them.

However, it is reliably known that the bodies of the dead and wounded, injured as a result of US Air Force strikes on groups of “hunters,” were delivered to hospitals in Dehdesht. Among not only the Basij and IRGC intelligence officers, but also ordinary local residents supporting the regime, who were lured by promises of a generous reward for the discovery and capture of the American pilot.

Earlier, Iranian sources reported that strikes were carried out on a target on the Black Mountain in the Kohgiluyeh region, in southwestern Iran. Killed and wounded were reported, their number was being clarified.

American UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters were spotted in the area.

Some sources stated that Iranian Basij militia clashed in the area with American special forces sent to rescue the navigator of a downed F-15 aircraft.

Against this background, the Iranian Tasnim agency disseminated a false statement that the US Air Force was allegedly attacking the area, trying to eliminate the navigator, who could not be found and saved.
