A march of solidarity with Israel will take place in Vilnius

The public organization “March of the Living” reported on its page on the social network Facebook that on April 12, on the eve of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a march of solidarity with Israel will take place in Vilnius.

“This April, to commemorate Yom Hashoah, Marches of the Living will be organized in more than 50 cities in Europe, the USA and South America. These are events in honor of the victims of the Holocaust and solidarity with the Jewish people and the state of Israel,” the organizers say.

The march starts at 16:00 local time in Rudininku Square, on the territory of the former ghetto. “Don’t forget to bring the flag of Israel, Lithuania or any other country you love. Come with your family and friends, honor history and show that life, truth and solidarity are stronger than hatred,” the statement said.

It is also noted that the procession will be guarded by police.
