Iran rejects Trump’s threats and reminds him that they have survived “centuries of delusions” of their enemies

The Iranian authorities have rejected the latest threats launched this Tuesday by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, a few hours before the deadline for his latest ultimatum expires, and have reminded him that they are part of “a civilization that has survived centuries of turmoil and delusions” of its enemies.

“Iran is not an ‘incident’ in history, but history itself. A civilization that has survived centuries of turmoil and delusions of those who wish it evil,” emphasized Mohammad Reza Aref, advisor to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a message on his social networks.

Aref has stressed that Iran “will not be bowed down by Trump’s primitive rhetoric and has assured that they will respond” to the enemy’s atrocities “by defending national interests and with confidence in the “strength” of the Iranian people.

Pezeshkian’s advisor thus responds to the latest diatribe of Donald Trump, who has threatened to make “an entire civilization” die tonight, a few hours before his ultimatum to Iran to reach an agreement expires.

“An entire civilization will die tonight, never to return,” he wrote on his social networks, from where he predicted that in the next few hours “one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world” will be experienced.

Trump has reiterated this ultimatum to Iran on several occasions, demanding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, even threatening to destroy civilian facilities, such as bridges, energy plants and desalination plants.

As the president of the United States increases the tone of his intimidations, Iran considers these demands “irrational” and “excessive”, amid international calls for dialogue to end the war.
