Oil rises again amid unstable truce between US and Iran

At 9 am (local time, 10 am Brasília), WTI futures contracts, the crude oil used as a reference in the USA, totaled US$ 5.20 compared to the previous day’s closing.

This increase comes after the American barrel registered its biggest daily drop yesterday since 2020. WTI closed at US$ 94.41, after falling 16.41% in relation to the previous close, in the first day of the ceasefire, despite contradictory information between the two countries about the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
