Gagik Tsarukyan will head the PAP list

Gagik Tsarukyan will head the electoral list of PAP, Tsarukyan himself announced and insisted “I have no inclination for any position”.

“The desire of my people, which I hear every day, I go, I gathered people, those people who are good representatives of different fields, are efficient workers, have handwriting, the same people say: we don’t need a position, the important thing is not the position, the important thing is the state, they say: the important thing is not the mandate, the important thing is the result. We are moving according to this principle,” Tsarukyan said.

The PAP leader said he has four candidates for the prime minister, without mentioning names. “I have not given a word to anyone by name. We are in a very difficult situation today. Being prime minister is not a pleasure, it is hard work. Whoever can be, whoever has that experience and my team will agree with that surname, he will be too.”

Tsarukyan replied to the question: in case of victory, will the mandate be dropped? “It’s possible.”

“I will not be the candidate for the Prime Minister, but with my party we will follow whoever can do it, he should be,” Gagik Tsarukyan said and noted that he does not imagine a coalition with the current and former authorities.

Earlier today, it became known that Narek Karapetyan, a member of the Council of Political Power, will head the pre-election list of the “Strong Armenia” party. The pre-election list of the “Armenia” alliance will be headed by the second president of the National Assembly, Robert Kocharyan.
