The Resurrection Festival returns to Madrid with performances by the Gipsy Kings, Hakuna and Boney M

The IV Feast of the Resurrection, organized by the Catholic Association of Propagandists (ACdP), will take over the Plaza de Cibeles in Madrid this Saturday, April 11, with concerts by the Gipsy Kings, Hakuna Group Music, Boney M, Liz Mitchell y André Reyes.

The event seeks to commemorate the Resurrection of Christ in a festive atmosphere and will take place between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in this enclave of the capital. Doors are scheduled to open at 5 p.m.

Thus, the Gipsy Kingsreferences of flamenco rumba, Boney Micons of disco music from the 80s, and No Group Musica musical phenomenon of the 21st century made up of Catholic singers, will be in charge, along with the rest of the artists, of making the public vibrate this Saturday in a festival of free access, free and open to all audiences.

The meeting, which last year brought together some 85,000 attendeeswill be hosted by the radio host Javi Nieves and will be animated by DJ El Pulpo.

In addition, during the party the song ‘Gólgota’ by the artist Ángel Catela, winner of the ‘Música y Fe’ contest, an initiative promoted by the ACdP to discover and support young talents whose music is inspired by Christian values, will be played live.

Among the artists who have participated in past editions, Cali & el Dandee, Beret, Siempre Así, Modestia Apart, Marilia (former member of Ella Baila Sola), Carlos Baute, Andy y Lucas and Grilex, among others, stand out.
