Parliamentarians elections in Hungary on Sunday, the centrist and pro-European opposition party Tisza has an advantage over the prime minister’s ruling Fidesz party Viktor Orbanthe survey results published in the Nepszava newspaper showed. Orban is facing the biggest challenge during his 16 years in power, but there is a large number of undecided voters, which means that the outcome of the election is uncertain.

Tisza, led by a former associate of Orban Peter Hungarianenjoys the support of 52 percent when it comes to about voters who have decided who they will vote for, and Fidesz is supported by 39 percent of those polled, the results of the pre-election survey conducted by the Publicus Institute showed.

The poll, in which 1,000 respondents participated, showed that 38 percent of all voters support Tisza and 29 percent Fidesz, while 25 percent are undecided.

The current nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, two days before the election, accused the “opponents” of participating in “an organized attempt to use chaos, pressure and international demonization to challenge the decision of the Hungarian people”.

– They conspire with foreign intelligence services, they don’t even shy away from them to take power – he announced on Facebook and condemned the “threats of violence” directed against his supporters, “fabricated accusations of electoral fraud” and “pre-organized demonstrations” even before the votes were counted.

The current Hungarian Prime Minister, who has been in power since 2010, is seeking a fifth term. He received the support of the American president again Donald Trumpwho called on voters to support Orban.

Orban’s rival, conservative and pro-European politician Peter Magyar, is leading in the polls. Before the visit of the American Vice President J. D. Vancea He warned Budapest about the US attempt to influence the elections.

– No foreign country may interfere in Hungarian elections. This is our country. Hungarian history is not written in Washington, Moscow or Brussels, it is written on Hungarian streets and squares – he announced.

Experts have previously warned that there is evidence of continued Russian attempts to interfere in the campaign in Hungary.
