Iran affirms that if the United States prioritizes its interests over those of Israel there can be an agreement

Iran stated this Saturday that if the United States prioritizes its interests in the peace negotiations that will take place in Islamabad it is “likely” to reach an agreement “beneficial for both parties and for the world”.“We have good will, but we do not trust the United States due to the experiences of the last talks,” he stated, in reference to the nuclear negotiations of 2025 and last January, which ended in Israeli-American offensives against the Persian country.

In addition to Qalibaf, the Iranian delegation includes the Foreign Minister, Abas Araqchi; and the secretary of the Iranian Defense Council, Ali Akbar Ahmadianamong other authorities in the military and financial sector.

The US delegation, in turn, is made up of the vice president, JD Vance; the special envoy Steve Witkoffand the advisor Jared Kushnerson-in-law of Donald Trump, as well as representatives of the Pentagon.
