The last few days have been intense for Paulo Borrachinha. After beating Russian Azamat Murzakanov at UFC 327 in Miami, the Brazilian became the talk of the town inside and outside the Octagon.

“Congratulations to Paulo Costa for a great fight in the UFC last night in Miami. He will definitely be a future champion,” Trump wrote.


Borrachinha responded on social media and called the North American a “great leader”.

Dana White indicates promising future

The victory also had repercussions within the UFC. The organization’s CEO, Dana White, praised the Brazilian’s performance. According to him, the triumph over an undefeated opponent reinforces Borrachinha’s potential within the category.

“What an impressive victory. He faced an undefeated guy and went there to knock him out. This qualifies him for many interesting fights”, he stated.


With his contract nearing its end, the tendency is for the Brazilian to renew with the organization after his good run.
